Faberge
Woodhue
Hair Spray
-
Perfumed Hair Spray from the 1950s. Many people don't know that Faberge was the first to create perfume scented hair spray. This hair spray smelled so wonderful that Aqua Net bought the rights to the formula and began selling it under their own name in the 1960s. Very few cans of Woodhue Hair Spray are left out there. It smells awesome! It has no stickiness to it, just the beautiful scent of Woodhue. I have sprayed this can a few times, but I also have a second one unused if someone is interested in it. The unused can would be $45. The top of the cap is velour.

Faberge
Tigress Parfum
12ml Parfum with box
-
This is a very desirable vintage perfume and even rarer bottle design. This bottle was first released in 1952. This is the original box and while very rare to find, the box is not very impressive for such a rare find. But the box is in near perfect condition. I have identified it is Tigress but the only reference to a perfume is that the box says Parfum Faberge. When sold it had a label that wrapped around the box sealing the box that had the name of the perfume on it. That label is gone. But the velvet tie holding it in the box is gold and gold was the color they used for Tigress. Other perfumes used green or red.
Bottle is still sealed and attached to the box with a velvet tie. Onion skin is still sealing the bottle although the gold string has come untied. It is more than half full, so it has about a 1/4 oz of parfum.
It is thick bottle with a polished bottom so I would say it is a crystal bottle. Truly a fantastic, spicy perfume that inspired other perfume house to follow with perfumes such as Opium, and Zen. To me, this captures the early 1970s. But maybe that is because this was the perfume my older sister wore at that time.
Bottle is 3 1/2" tall.
