Quelques Fleurs was first released in 1912 and was praised as being a modern fragrance. The nose behind this fragrance was Robert Bienaime. It is classified as a floral fragrance for women. It's dominant notes are lilac, rose, jasmine, violet, and orchid.
Top notes: aldehydes, violet leaves, bergamot, orange blossom, hyacinth, orchid, honey, tarragon, green note, lemon
Middle notes: heliotrope, lilac, jasmine, rose, carnation, ylang ylang, orris, violet, lily of the valley, clove, tuberose, reseda
Base notes: tonka bean, ambergris, oakmoss, musk, civet, vanilla and sandalwood.
Box is in rough shape and I believe this is from the 1960s. In the 1960s they switched to a velvet box. This box is velvet, although very worn.

Using only the finest ingredients, Bal a Versailles opens with a complex medley of Italian Bergamot, Italian Lemon, Tunisian Neroli, Ylang Ylang and Cassie Absolute. The heart of this classic floriental is based on rare and precious essences of Jasmin Absolute, Rose Absolute, Opoponax and Orris Specialties. To this are added exotic woods and spices: Vetiver, Patchouli, Sandalwood, Vanilla Absolute, Mousse de Chene Absolute, Cistus and Insense.
Warm and richly textured, Bal a Versailles is a timeless indulgence, appealing to the most discriminating tastes of yesterday and today.
I don't know when the set was made, as I have never found anything else like it. Just beautiful.

New in box and outer clear plastic box. It says it is Eau de parfum, but parfum is everything less than 83% alcohol, so this is really parfum. I have had this for 4 years and never opened the package to smell the perfume. I think I bought it at a busy time and never got around to smelling it. I knew nothing about the perfume when I bought it so I just didn't think it was going to be something I loved.
My first whiff was reminiscent of something. Didn't know what. I put some on my wrist and let it sink in for a few minutes. I kept saying it is familiar. And then it hit me. Balenciaga's Rumba! But without the heavy, overpowering strength. I smelled it again, and said, no, that is not it. And then I thought, Leonard Balahe! Another perfume I wore for years. Needless to say it is wonderful. It is similar to two of my favorite perfumes. But Revolution is smoother, more feminine and less obnoxious than Rumba or Balahe. White florals, fruit and incense. Absolutely exquisite!

This is a lovely and rare bottle of Jean Patou Caline in the pure perfume concentration. This bottle is unused and in perfect condition. The inside of the box is clean. The outside of the box is beautiful. Small amount of evaporation.
Jean Patou Caline appeared on the market in 1964, advertised as a fragrance for young women. Caline is an intense floral aldehyde, chypre fragrance with notes of green citrus, aldehydes, spices, May rose, jasmine, orris root, cyclamen, ylang-ylang, carnation, sandalwood, cedar, labdanum, moss and musk.
The nose behind this fragrance was Henri Giboulet.
Caline is very much along the lines of those classic aldehydic chypres of the 50s. It is a wonderful chypre.

Beautiful vintage item and wonderful perfume. I love 1000 and you will too. This is the much sought after 1/4 oz Jadeite bottle and it feels mostly full. Authenticity tag around the neck. Includes the inner clear plastic box that protects the suede box. It has a code on the side of the box that could be related to the year of production, I believe it is from the 1980s. This particular bottle was discontinued and I don't know what year they stopped making it.
There is shelf wear to the cellophane still covering the outer box and minor stains on the outer white box from years of storage.

Here is a chance to get a great bottle of Jean Patou 1000 at an affordable price. This is an adorable 1/4 oz crystal Baccarat bottle that is 3/4 full. It is pure heaven!
I have been sampling from this bottle and there is a small amount of wear to the gold on the sides of the stopper. Great other than that.

Still sealed. This is from the year 1929 as evidenced by the lack of a control number on the card inside the box. First production run. Also notice the shoulders of the bottle are more square than bottles just a couple of years later. They changed the shape of the bottle slightly. It is in amazing condition. Foil label is in great condition. String still attached to bottle with onion skin underneath it. Bottle feels full and barely any evaporation. Tiny wear to the box, box is in wonderful condition. This is the French formula and not made in US. Made in France. This is about as good as you will ever find. Best formula. Best year. Best bottle.

This is so cool. It is from the early 1960s and includes the original paper and pipette for refilling the bottle. I don't think it was used but some has evaporated. The set is near pristine, just age and some outer wear to box. This is a spray and does still work.

Factory sealed Joy Parfum by Jean Patou. 30 ml of the most beautiful perfume ever made. Great bargain for a sealed bottle and box. Cellophane still sealed. Box has a couple of bumps on the outside, not enough to affect the interior box, and a tear in the cellophane across the backside. Sells new for $389+ so this is a great deal for a sealed bottle with just small damage to the outer box.

Pristine condition! I have owned this 10 years, and it is so beautiful that I never used it. Gorgeous satin brocade padded box, that can be used to hold your valuables.
Set includes Perfumed Body Lotion, Eau de Toilette and a 1/4 oz spray Parfum. Also includes a funnel to refill the spray bottle, which means the top screws off so it can be refilled.
This would be an excellent item for gift giving to someone who loves Joy perfume.

Beautiful presentation with a fabricated Hawaiian lei around the bottle and some kind of reed tie sealing the bottle. Label, box and bottle are in pristine condtion. This has a label on the box that shows this was made when Hawaii was just a Territory of the US, which dates it after 1897 and before 1957. My guess is 1940s.
Bottle is 1 oz and has slight evaporation. Faint scent around neck in fantastic condition. I love Pikake as it reminds me of Hawaii, where my husband and I honeymooned.

This cute stuffed animal by Jovan was in production from 1986 to 1992. A very rare find to still have its Musk Oil. There is a small dent on the top of the bottle. Almost full, just a small amount may have been used. Bear is showing some age, due to being 20 years old.

This beautiful perfume is a unisex scent from one of the most prolific Niche perfume houses. It is marketed to women, but it really would work wonderfully on a sharp dressed man.
It is a soft, lovely fragrance with notes of apricot, plum, golden Japanese osmanthus, tuberose, green notes and white datura.
Bottle comes in the original box and it is approximately 65% full. This is in their first bottle design. I bought this new, the year it was released, which was 2005.

This is the original crystal flacon designed by Lalique in 1993 in celebration of the launch of their first women's fragrance, Lalique of Lalique. This bottle is not a reproduction of a previous design but was designed in 1993 by Lalique. This distinctive flacon is a striking combination of clear and satin-finished crystal. A frosted trellis of winding hand-sculpted honeysuckle leaves surrounds a clear center, which holds the amber colored fragrance. Crowning the flacon is a fan shaped stopper.
The bottle is a 2.5 oz and is 4 1/2" tall with a glass stopper and plastic plug so it won't leak in transit.
This soft, delicate perfume is a celebration of nature with rose, jasmine, and iris top notes; blackberries and pear at its heart; and Mysore sandalwood, bourbon vanilla, musk, and amber at its core. Mademoiselle de Paris is a perfume by Lancaster for women and was released in 1957. The scent is gourmand-oriental. Bottle is still sealed. Sold in Monte Carlo.

Still sealed with box. There is a remnant of a sticker on the bottom which I will probably remove before shipping. Small wear to box from storage and a small amount of evaporation. I would date this to 1950-60s due to the all black glass stopper.
Arpege is an aldehyde perfume similar to Chanel No 5, with a hefty dose of sandalwood, but with a certain lightness and clarity on first application. It is rich and classy, the scent of a real woman -- a woman who has known the full tonic range of emotions from despair to euphoria -- mature in the drydown yet breezy enough for day or summer. Tenacious too.
